Sunday Worship

Our Sunday worship time is 10:15-11:45 a.m. We are traditional in our worship approach, and enjoy a fellowship luncheon together following our celebration of the Lord’s Table on the last Sunday of every month.

Sunday School

With the exception of the summer months (Resumes October 16, 2016), we have Sunday School from 9:00-9:45 a.m., including classes for all ages from preschool to adult.

Weeknight Studies

SGCC is presently hosting three weeknight studies on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. These are home studies that meet bi-weekly in three different locations across the Denver metro area. The material for these studies is a previous teaching series (“God With Us”) which traces the biblical storyline from Genesis through to Revelation with particular emphasis on the Christ-centeredness of all the Scriptures.

Monthly Study/Fellowship

Consideration and discussion among the saints are critical to the fruitfulness of the ministry of the Word. This is especially important in the case of pulpit teaching which, by its very nature, is one-directional and not suited to dialog. This monthly meeting is open to all and has two edification goals: The first is the growth of the saints’ understanding through loosely-structured discussion of the current pulpit instruction; the second is the saints’ growth in intimacy through ongoing fellowship.

Monthly Prayer Meeting

This gathering for prayer occurs on the last Saturday of every month from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Different members of the congregation host this meeting in their home.

Ladies’ Fellowship

On at least a quarterly basis the ladies of SGCC gather together in a home for a time of fellowship and mutual edification. This gathering isn’t a Bible study, but focuses on a particular theme. This year’s theme has been cooking, and the ladies have enjoyed learning how to put together and celebrate a high tea as well as prepare the traditional Spanish celebratory dish paella.

Men’s Fellowship

Like the ladies, the men of SGCC enjoy a quarterly Saturday morning gathering. This gathering begins with breakfast and then continues with informal discussion of various biblical and practical issues.
